head and target moved simultaneously in opposite directions at matched speed while the target stays sharply in focus
Range of Motion
cervical rotation oscillations paired with equal opposite target motion, doubling angular VOR demand; amplitude limited to where the target stays clear

How to Perform

Hold a target in front of you and move the head and target in OPPOSITE directions simultaneously while maintaining clear fixation. Doubles the angular demand on the VOR vs ×1.
