📖 Static demo — read-only snapshot
You’re browsing a static build of the Body IQ knowledge graph, so everything loads with no backend. A few things that need the live server are turned off here:
- Global search (sidebar) is disabled — it queries the API.
- The JSON API and the API “Try it” playgroundaren’t included.
- The data is a snapshot — it refreshes only when the demo is rebuilt, not live from the database.
Everything else — the body map, progression ladders, coverage heatmap, exercise finder, and all anatomy/exercise/source pages — works fully. The full app (live search + API + database) runs from the source on GitHub.
Toe Yoga (Big Toe Up / 4 Toes Down)
Positions & Range of Motion
- Start
- seated (or standing) with foot flat on the floor, all toes relaxed on the ground
- End
- the four lesser toes pressed down while the big toe lifts, then reversed so the big toe presses down while the four lesser toes lift, with a finger holding down the toes that should stay put
- Range of Motion
- selective toe MTP flexion/extension — big toe extension with lesser-toe flexion and vice versa, small isolated excursion
How to Perform
Sitting or standing with foot on floor: press the 4 small toes into the ground while lifting only the big toe. Then reverse — big toe down, 4 toes up. Trains foot intrinsic motor control.
