Positions & Range of Motion

standing tall with long spine, lifted breastbone, soft jaw, crown of head reaching toward the ceiling
End
sustained three-dimensionally corrected posture — spine elongated, trunk deflected and derotated — while breathing into the concave/collapsed side of the ribcage
Range of Motion
active postural correction combining axial elongation, deflection and derotation with facilitated rib breathing; largely isometric with minimal gross joint excursion

How to Perform

Functional exercises addressing postural kyphosis through three-dimensional corrective movements. Combines elongation, deflection, derotation, and facilitated breathing. Demonstrates large effect sizes for improving thoracic kyphosis (mean reduction of 14.76°), lumbar lordosis, balance, and quality of life.
