📖 Static demo — read-only snapshot

You’re browsing a static build of the Body IQ knowledge graph, so everything loads with no backend. A few things that need the live server are turned off here:

  • Global search (sidebar) is disabled — it queries the API.
  • The JSON API and the API “Try it” playgroundaren’t included.
  • The data is a snapshot — it refreshes only when the demo is rebuilt, not live from the database.

Everything else — the body map, progression ladders, coverage heatmap, exercise finder, and all anatomy/exercise/source pages — works fully. The full app (live search + API + database) runs from the source on GitHub.

Positions & Range of Motion

Start
seated or standing with a long, tall neutral spine, target-side shoulder gently depressed, same-side fingertips reaching toward the floor
End
cervical spine laterally flexed away from the target side, opposite ear drawn toward the opposite shoulder while the ipsilateral shoulder stays depressed, held at a comfortable stretch
Range of Motion
cervical lateral flexion to comfortable end range with scapular depression; sustained static hold

How to Perform

Seated or standing, laterally flex the cervical spine away from the target side while gently depressing the ipsilateral shoulder. Stretching 2x daily, 5 days/week for 4 weeks significantly reduces pain (VAS -1.4) and improves function in office workers.
