standing on one leg with a soft (unlocked) standing knee, level pelvis and quiet hip, opposite foot lifted off the floor, trunk upright

free-leg toe reaching out to lightly tap a target line in a given direction (progressing through 8 star directions) at maximum reach while single-leg stance is maintained, standing knee still tracking over the toes
Range of Motion
multidirectional free-leg reach excursions (anterior/posterolateral/posteromedial through 8 directions); standing-limb ankle and hip make small corrective excursions

How to Perform

Balance exercises progressing from firm to unstable surfaces. Includes single-leg stance, star excursion balance test (reaching in 8 directions while standing on one leg), and eyes-closed balance. Enhances proprioception, ankle strength, and postural control.
