How to Perform

A multi-segment dynamic mobility drill that chains a deep lunge, a hip/adductor opener, a thoracic rotation reach, and a hamstring lengthening in one flow. From standing, step into a long forward lunge and place both hands on the floor framing the lead foot. Drop the trailing knee toward the ground to load the trailing-side hip flexors. Bring the elbow on the lead-leg side down toward the instep to sink into the hip and groin. Then, keeping the outside hand planted, rotate the trunk and reach the lead-side arm up toward the ceiling, following the hand with the eyes to open the thoracic spine. Finally, shift the hips back and straighten the front knee to lengthen the hamstring, then return to the lunge and step back to stand. Move slowly and repeat, alternating sides.
